Craig Kieswetter who plays for Somerset County Cricket Club has given us his view from behind the stumps about the squad’s pre-season and the exciting season ahead in 2012 for Somerset Cricket fans.

Apple AM, Taunton’s first and original hospital radio station has been granted a Community License by Ofcom.

It marks the end of a year long wait from submitting their application and Apple’s 43 strong team of volunteer presenters and associated members can at last breathe a welcome sigh of relief.

Today everyone at Apple AM was sad to learn of the passing of Chris Beeson, a hospital radio presenter remembered with great affection. He died following a long spell of ill health.

Chris presented 'Just For You with Chris and Maureen Beeson', his lovely wife, from 8pm until 10pm on Tuesday evenings and also 'The Alternative Show' from 10am to midday on Fridays.
