Hi, I'm John Berryman, and I present The Request Show on Wednesday afternoons.
The show is for the patients, families and friends of those in hospital. I go around the wards to speak to the patients before the show starts. I also do an instrumental piece, plus the 3.00pm trivia (10 questions for fun).

Today everyone at Apple AM was sad to learn of the passing of Chris Beeson, a hospital radio presenter remembered with great affection. He died following a long spell of ill health.
Chris presented 'Just For You with Chris and Maureen Beeson', his lovely wife, from 8pm until 10pm on Tuesday evenings and also 'The Alternative Show' from 10am to midday on Fridays.
