Dave Angel
I have been into radio ever since I can remember' I grew up with the great BBC dramas and comedy shows ringing in my ears, as we had a radio-gram in the front room at home which seemed to be always switched on to something.
It was the 1960s and great changes were taking place everywhere. We had radio Luxermburg at night and in the day a selection of newly emerging off-shore radio stations pumping out all day music of various sorts.
Well, I grew up left school in the 1970s I Ibecame a producer of braile writing for a christian based charity that helps blind people based in Leicestershire, where I stayed for around 10 years.I myself blind so it seemed inevitable that I would be doing this kind of work. However I eventually moved on and went to university where I picked up a degree in computing. And it was at university that I found campus radio and had my first taste of broadcasting experience this was great fun and allowed me to be very creative and imaginative.
After this I got involved with Leicester Hospital Radio where to this day still do a show, And back in 2008 I found Apple am streaming on the internet and the rest is history stall we say.
So why not tune in to me Dave Angel every Thursday between 5pm and 6pm
