Keith Stooke was born in and grew up in London but feels at home in the South West where has lived since the age of 18 apart from a three-year return to London and four years in San Francisco.
His working life has been mainly in the newspaper industry, as a national and local journalist and in various management roles. He later changed course to become a project manager with Mind, the mental health charity.
Keith has always harboured an enthusiasm and respect for radio, believing it to be the most informative and entertaining of the various media but this is the first time that Keith has actually worked in radio.
After a serious illness five years ago put him in hospital for more than five months, he appreciates the value of hospital radio and is delighted to be involved now with Apple AM.
