Congratulations to our Summer Draw Winners!
In the early afternoon of a rather wet midsummer's day, Chairman Simon West, Fundraising Co-ordinator Phil Hodgson and Secretary Tracey Wright pulled four prizewinning tickets out of a very large bag, packed full of hopeful stubs for our twice-yearly draw.
They did the draw live on air during a special broadcast which included music from Abby, playing 'Money, Money, Money' and 'The Winner Takes it All' and 'Some Guys Have All the Luck' by Robert Palmer!
The winners were notified almost immediately and were delighted with the news.
The first prize was a healthy cheque for £250 and it went to Mrs Burnett, the second was £125 and won by J Guildford, the third was £75 and Mr Beszant scooped that one up and finally, the fourth prize of £25 went to A Parkin.
Photographs of them accepting their winning cheques will be uploaded on our news page shortly, so keep an eye out for those.
