New Sunday Line-Up

We have tweaked your Sunday afternoon and evening line-up. From midday you can now catch Tony Smedley with Lunchtime On Sunday. Dave Englefield’s Vinyl Countdown has moved to the new time of 1pm.

From 5pm join Simon & Tracey for the new show Spiritual Journey. Finally Mike Whitingham’s Classic Tracks has moved to a new 10pm slot. Gluing all the changes together are the original Sunday shows The Sunday Spin, Cross Connections and Music Mania.

Apple Broadcast to the Core of Taunton & Beyond!

Apple AM, Taunton’s first and original hospital radio station has been granted a Community License by Ofcom.

It marks the end of a year long wait from submitting their application and Apple’s 43 strong team of volunteer presenters and associated members can at last breathe a welcome sigh of relief.

Chris Beeson fondly remembered

Today everyone at Apple AM was sad to learn of the passing of Chris Beeson, a hospital radio presenter remembered with great affection. He died following a long spell of ill health.

Chris presented 'Just For You with Chris and Maureen Beeson', his lovely wife, from 8pm until 10pm on Tuesday evenings and also 'The Alternative Show' from 10am to midday on Fridays.
