The town centre was packed to watch Apple am outside broadcast team, Father Christmas, carnival royalty and special guests to press the plunger to switch on this year's display.The fireworks, launched from the roof of Debenhams, were the culmination of a day of entertainment staged with the apple am team location in the town centre.

Attractions included concerts, dance displays, a Continental market, stalls, refreshments, fairground rides and singing.Father Christmas led a procession from the Brewhouse Theatre to the town centre before a dazzling fire show by Cirque Bijou wowed the crowds on a specially-constructed stage around the Burma memorial outside the Market House.

Paul Sands said "It was very long day for me and the team but to run the main stage for such a massive event in the heart of Taunton was a great honor for us all at apple am and the whole team had a very enjoyable day, and will helped raise some money for the league of friends at the same time”.We would to thank the T.T.C for inviting us a long and all the people of Taunton for giving us there spare change, we mange to raise £350.00 on the day.
