By the look of things, it"s going to be a packed show, full of great music and with a sparkling array of special guests too, all talking about ways we can slow down our pace a little and enjoy life a lot more.

Tracey comments on the "Green Up" element of her programme and says, "There is still too much confusion about whether installing an eco-light bulb in your front room is going to make a jot of difference to the planet! I want to encourage you to lean towards the green and focus on how to "Save Money AND Save Our Planet" at the same time!"

Her guests will add lively debate and great banter to the show and they will discuss simple, green living events in and around the county, there will also be news from some of our wonderful local charities, there will be upbeat and entertaining eco-reporting from around the world and lots of Tracey"s top green tips to help you get back on your feet when you get home!

Tracey will also cut to the chase and tell you what"s hot and happening in the world of eco-gadgetry and rarely encourages you to spend any money, unless it"s going to SAVE you money!

There will be snippets and tips from some of her favourite green books and some smashing recipes to try, with a big focus on seasonal, local produce....she even does "live tastings" on the radio, which will make your mouth water!

AND if the wind is blowing in the right direction, there will even be a competition or two, with a guaranteed, green prize waiting for you to win at the other end...all you have to do is listen in and call Tracey in the studio with your answer.

So do tune in, every Wednesday between 10.00am and 1.00pm for a bit of "Slow Down and Green Up" with top downshifter, Tracey Smith!
