With over 100 Family Week Picnics confirmed to have taken place across the UK on Bank Holiday Monday, and with more than 15,000 picnickers enjoying a day out with their families, it looks like the UK has set a new record for the world's largest picnic in multiple locations! Apple am entertain the people of Taunton on Bank Hoilday Monday (25th May) as will took part in the big picnic.A whopping 656 people munched their way through sandwiches and gulped down drinks as Taunton attempted to join the record books.

As the people of Taunton enjoyed the big picnic, There was plenty of fun and entertainment at the Apple am roadshow with the apple crew and there were join throughout the day with lots of special guests .

Local MP Jeremy Browne opened the event and then made his way down to talk to us with Andy and Steve asking all the questions, We was then join by ex Apple Am Star Jo Cooksley for a rap and a poem of two, After lunch we had live music from Dan Crisp and Charlie Hinchcliff and round off the day a interview from the Town centre manager.

It was a fantastic day and an amazing event we will have to see if we helped set a new world record , but it was a great turnout and everyone enjoyed themselves.
